OpenKagi is a community project. It’s not designed to make money—there are no ads, no trackers, and we don’t sell data. The project is paid for out of pocket by me, Seth, and it runs because people in the Kagi community believe in building cool things together.
That said, keeping the site online, improving infrastructure, and expanding features does cost money. Here’s how we make it work:
How We’re Funded
- Out of pocket: hosting, domains, and infrastructure are covered personally.
- Community contributions: you can support OpenKagi through Buy Me A Coffee or Stripe. These small contributions help offset ongoing costs.
- Sponsorships: we’re open to partnering with sponsors who align with the spirit of OpenKagi.
Sponsor OpenKagi
OpenKagi is a community-run project built by and for Kagi enthusiasts. We don’t run ads, track users, or sell data. Instead, the project is funded out of pocket—with a little help from the community and thoughtful sponsorships.
By sponsoring OpenKagi, you’re not just placing a logo. You’re helping:
- Keep the lights on: covering hosting, infrastructure, and development costs.
- Support creativity: fueling a space where the Kagi community can share Lenses, Themes, and new ideas.
- Reach the right people: OpenKagi is home to an engaged, curious, and tech-forward audience that cares deeply about thoughtful tools.
